We approach each project with a healthy dose of wonder and curiosity or what might be referred to as a state of play. This becomes even more important when creating whimsical and playful designs for toddlers and children. The Gathre Activity Walker was an exercise in play as we explored various options with extensive full scale prototypes made from all sorts of odds and ends. The end result was an aesthetically resonant activity walker that embodied values such as exploration, beauty, learning, and creativity.
